Preschool Development Grant: Planning and Input at Cluster 8 Meeting
Kudos to Jodie Keller and Brian Heese in Cluster 8 for working with West Ed to give their region an opportunity for input into the Preschool Development Grant (PDG) planning process. This is an important initiative that will impact the entire ECE landscape.
More than 50 Head Start management and staff provided their insights on how to improve and align the system of childcare from the perspective of children and families.
WestEd is working this summer to collect input for the Preschool Development Grant from the field in a variety of venues. Those dates will be posted on our website as they become available.
Interested in providing your input?
The meetings of the California State Advisory Council on Early Learning and Care (SAC) is the venue where progress on the process will be shared, with opportunity for comment / input.
These are usually held at:

744 P Street, Auditorium, Room 205
On August 21, 2019, a preliminary report is expected.
